The City of Minneola is accepting applications for full time employment as Maintenance I in the water, wastewater, and public works department. Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, as well as a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Applicant should have the ability to operate heavy equipment and be able to obtain a Class “B” driver’s license within 6 months. Applicant must obtain Water Class 1 certification and Wastewater Small Systems certification within 2 years. Work is required in all types of weather and conditions, heavy lifting over 50 lbs. at times, subject to on-call work, and part-time work every other weekend. Must live in close proximity or relocate to Minneola. Benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, sick leave, KPERS retirement, health insurance, vision and dental insurance, and uniforms.
