Our City Council meets the third Monday of every month at City Hall starting at 7pm. The general public is welcome to attend.
Councilmen are elected for a four year term. The Mayor is elected to a two year term.

MINNEOLA CITY COUNCIL MEETS July 24, 2025
The Minneola City Council met in continued regular session on July 24, 2025, in the City Hall. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m., with the following Council members present: Debbie Buckley. Wesley Orr, Chad Kirk, and Marvin Jensen joined by speaker phone. Mayor Carol Sibley presided. Also present was Tyler Knox, City Manager, and Brenda Stewart, City Clerk.
Discussion took place on awarding the RHID Magnolia Street infrastructure project after Attorney Morgan Koon was contacted. Marvin made a motion to award the Magnolia Street infrastructure contract to Smokey Hill LLC, Debbie seconded, motion passed 4/0.
Tyler will get with EBH to work up the award paperwork.
Debbie made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Chad seconded, motion passed 4/0. The meeting adjourned at 10:11 am.
